Business Development Manager (South East)

Based in the South East you will be responsible for generating business by identifying and selling to Housing Association prospects and maintaining on-going relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options.
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending the most appropriate Affresol solution to meet the customer needs.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements to all customers.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, changes in housing legislation, and competitors.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising order and pipeline information.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Ideal candidates for this role will have the ability to build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain knowledge of current market conditions. Experience in the construction or similar industry an advantage.
